Just 'cuz it's science doesn't mean it isn't magic. Sometimes science is the best magic.
Ever have a water bottle in your car in the early winter, and you come outside and it was below freezing overnight, but when you see the bottle it isn't frozen. Sometimes, if you give it a thwap with your finger, ice crystals will start forming where you tapped, eventually filling the whole bottle with icy slush. It just needed incentive for the crystals to grow. But damn if it isn't magical.
