Flexing some HDRI

I'm quite pleased with the overall look of this one, especially considering the three exposures where shot handheld. You can see some foliage movement at the left side, but that is the nature of these things.

WOW! This is absolutely gorgeous and haunting all at the same time. I love this.

dramatic skies like that just scream out for hdri don't they? Great framing through the opening between the rocks too!

It wasn't that dramatic until the hdri. I mean, the clouds were there, but they didn't look menacing like that. But yeah, it was a good spot to shoot from.

*gasp*

Ok, I want that.

So how much additional leveling and darkening did you put into that? Was it just the image combo stuff?

The program has many adjustments, it came out mostly like you see there. I boosted the greens lightness a bit afterwards because I couldn't figure out how to do it in that program. (still learning)

Holy Jesus on a pogo stick, this is stunning. I love how the textures just pop. This is beautiful.

There is so much amazing texture and light in this shot. You nailed it X. Absolutely nailed it!

I wonder why these type of picture just scream "Rendered!" at me.

Maybe in rendering a fictitious landscape, the default is what results when you have to apply a process (hdri) to it in real life.
