What does goth mean? I've never been entirely clear what one must do to lay claim to gothism. (Gothicness? Gothnicity? Gothnicallity??!)

ok, so i don't like to label myself but i guess i've fallen into that Gothnicallity b/c of my dress, music, art, dark side, bruding and hate of most mankind...*hehe*...plus the black hair (dye) found in my bathroom...made others lable me

Labels are funny. At various times I've been labeled the honor student, the scary psychotic loner (officially, I'm told), and various things in between. Never really got stamped "goth", though [insert god/goddess here] knows I had the wardrobe. More recently, I've been earned the labels of husband, father, web geek, and (by some) photographer.

Move to NJ? I moved *away* from Jersey. :)

Yeah, I used to live in a little town called Stanhope (Mapquest Link. I worked all over the area... Morristown, Dover, Clifton, the Oranges, etc. Never worked in Jersey City, but I did go there to get some equipment once though. There are things about Jersey I miss, mostly related to the harder parts of my character, but I like the mountains too.

i'm close to Fort Lee...
about 15/20 mins from Jersey City...
raised most my life in Jersey...
i don't know if i could ever leave the area...
it's nice to visit places...
but i'm a jersey/city gyrl...
