I've had photos since Wednesday and haven't posted them yet. I am horrible, terrible, remiss, a sinner. I atone:

xposted variously.

You are an utter bastard.

This is what I say to anyone whose photos are this much better than mine.

Okay, so the thingy in the foreground looks like one of those things you massage someone's back with, and I see a flashlight and some weird Spencer's fiber-optic toy. But is that what the blue-white *whoosh* in #4 is?

Jealous, man. This sh!t is awesome.

Yeah, there seems to be a communication gap between me and my fairy godparents - no EOS series digital yet. ;)

Awww that is sadness!

Mine is not mine because I have yet to find two thousand dollars laying around my house. (If one is going to order the camera why not supplement one's lens collection at the same time, I am in need of something either macro, stalkerish, or super wide angle.)

Bastardom accepted, thanks. :)

To answer your question...
It's the fiber optic thingie (not spencers though, too expensive. I paid $1.00 at the flea market) being pulled through the "legs" of the aforementioned massager in a 10 second exposure.

Love your icon. Have you rented Bubba-HoTep yet?

I'll get there. Though at the rate I'm going, it will be the Canon EOS 999 by then.

Haha yeah, without distinction that it is even digital because that is standard! : P

I am in the same boat as you though. *sadness*

Impressed, as usual. What's your website address again?

Nope, just my side of the bed. The sheet is actually an abstract/southwestern pattern. It's just the lighting.

Awesome. The use of the flashlight is brilliant.

Oh. Uh, sorry about that.

And you have found yet another area in which I am remiss. I need to be quicker about moving new shots onto the website. Remember those waterfall pics from a few weeks ago? Still not posted.

The shame...

Get on it, Mister!

And duh, I think I should be able to remember that website next time. How's it been going, anyway? Have you been selling any prints?

on 2004-06-11 12:34 pm (UTC)
Posted by [identity profile] misterx.livejournal.com
not a lot, but I've sold a few.

which reminds me, I have to see if my search engine work has done any good.

not yet... I have it on my Netflix cue, but there is a long wait. It's a race between me and my friends to see who gets it first, then we'll all finally get to see it. I can't believe I missed it in the theatres. You?

rented it Wednesday. strange mixture, to say the least. I was surprised by how respectful the movie was to old people.

as I recall the Canon nomenclature, the flagship has always been the 1 (EOS 1D Mark 2, presently in the digital range) and the long numbers have been towards the lower end of the line.

The exception seems to have been the T-series manual focus SLRs, where the flagship was the T90.

Truly bizarre, you are the only one saying that. Can you see other people's pics? Maybe you have a content filter that things "misterx.com" is a porn site?
