Ooh lovely pics! I like how you captured the clouds and snow in the fourth one. I also know that animals are tricky to photograph, especially if they are not of the domesticated kind, so I really like the mountain lion pictures too.

Oops, didn't answer both questions. At Grandfather Mountain, they've blocked off chunks of mountainside habitat, where they keep indigenous animals (mostly ones that were wounded by hunters)
