When I was a kid, I used to have an imaginary friend. We liked the same stuff, and I could count on him to be the grey soldiers when I was the olive drab ones, or to pilot the tie fighter when I was in the x-wing. I never really got around to naming him, probably because I was upset about the way he'd touch me when we played in the closet, but I guess he was a friend nevertheless.

Imaginary friends have been the subject of more than one movie, from the classic Pooh Bear cartoons, to the sappy but touching Bogus, to the angels born from a sick boy's fever dreams in North Fork (or were they real?). I have to admit though, that when I watched Fight Club the first time, it didn't occur to me that I had seen the film before. Not exactly mind you, but in daily installments in the comic section of the local paper. So in another pop-art frappe that seems to be the theme of this Saturday, I present you with:
