Diskspace issues

It's unfortunately backordered, but I'm not surprised with that price.
EDIT: Bestbuy has gone back up to $299, but this co has it for $237 delivered....

I'm trying not to spend the $200 right now though, and scrounging around I found a forgotten 40GB drive in a drawer, which I fitted into an old external drive enclosure I had laying around. I then rearranged files as show in this simple diagram:
The end result is that I've bought myself some time, about 20 gig worth.
