not feeling so great today

Don't know if I ate out too much over the weekend or what, but I spent most of last night awake due to stomach pains. Stayed home part of today to rest but the bird wouldn't shut up so here I am at work instead. Feeling mostly better, other than being tired.

Since I was sick last week with head-cold like symptoms, I typed "flu like symptoms followed by stomach pain" into google to see what it thought. First three results are about anthrax. The internet has a sense of humor.

We had an anthrax scare downstairs from where I used to work. Somebody had bought powdered donuts and left some powder on the break table. Paranoid much?

Da CRUD is going around at work- I got it, Thora had it and my housemate had it.
I was out of work yesterday then-even though I had a note that said I could MISS today- I went in
good thing I did too-
3 people called in sick
there were 3 people doing the actual food prep and sandwich making (That's Me Dex and Everett) and we had 2 busloads of kids PLUS the normal lunch run. And with just the 3 of us- we handled it(Dex ran the grill, Everett and I did the prepping and wrapping)
I almost threw food at people today(BAD girl BAD) But I was damned near dead on my feet, busting my butt, and was lucky to make it through the day(without the buses)
My boss is talking about adding to my hours...especially if I don't mind working early shift(I don't that's what I work NORMALLY)
