the sick is upon me yet again

I must be weak from last time. Storm had strep last week, and it seems I've caught it. Sunday eve I wasn't feeling well, and I stayed home sick Monday, with my ears starting to hurt. Wednesday I was feeling somewhat better, so I figured I was on the mend, but unfortunately Mel was starting to feel sick. But no such luck with my wellness, by end of day Thursday I was sinking. I woke up this morning and not only are my throat and ears killing me, but one eye is now all red and crusted shut. Lovely. Melanie was kind enough to talk the dr's office into prescribing some antibiotics.

I'm just going to lay over here and fall apart a while.

You and Mel have my sympathy. We had a few months like that at our house last year -- one thing following on the heels of the other, for what felt like forever. It's horrible. Hope you're over it and healthy and feeling great soon.

It's so bad when all of you are sick at the same time! Once my ex hubby and I spent a month -- well, probably only a few days, but felt like a month -- lying in bed moaning, not for good reasons, and trying to outrace eachother (via crawling) to the bathroom. It's hell, and dying feels preferable.

The meds hsould help! Yannow, I remember when doctors made house calls! I even had one stay with me all night until my fever broke. (Everybody sing "those were the days, my friend. . . ")
