Puppy love

This is a "stray" dog that appeared at my parents place. They live down at the end of a dirt road, and people sometimes get rid of their unwanted animals by dumping them off there. He was incredibly affectionate, and sadly people-shy. Lorelei picked him up though and he totally melted, falling asleep on her shoulder.

Oh people like that deserve to be jailed. I hope you guys can keep him, he certainly looks like he wants to be "home" with Lorelai. :-) What a sweet face.

No, we already have a dog and taking in a stray didn't go so well last time we tried it. My parents put him up for adoption, but I don't know the details.

aw, jeez, poor little guy. Maybe dumped, maybe lost. If he's people shy, he probably didn't get a lot of love, affection and socialization. Or he's had experiences of being mistreated by people, so he's understandably wary of strangers: will I be hit? hurt? or cuddled?

I hope your parents find him the loving home he deserves. Clearly he'll appreciate it!
