Gorgeous.

This makes me so glad I've secured a decent paying job. I'm going to squirrel away my pennies until I can afford an SLR and then try to do half as wonderfully as you do.

Those are some of the most wonderful raven shots I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of them! Might I have one for an icon if credit were given? Maybe even interested in buying a print. *swoon*

Sure, iconify as needed.

Let me know if you are serious about a print, I do sell them.

I'd hang number one on my wall. 5x7 right in my bedroom.

You did a fabulous job, X. You really did.

wow. (speechless) I've never seen them that close. Or even far, actually: Crows, we have. Ravens, not so much.

Yeah... it struck me that #1 and #11 in particular look like something you'd see in one of those museum dioramas. :)

Grandfather Mtn is the only place I know where I can find them fairly reliably around here.

whyfore frightened? you'd probably like them if you gave them a chance.

I just wish the flying one was in better focus.

because they have mighty eyeball-craving beaks. i like my eyeballs.

true, it's very slightly off, but it's still a great shot.

actually, now that i look again, it occurs to me that it being off focus (while the branch behind it is) gives a strong feeling that the raven is COMING AT YOU. like you were looking at it on the branch, and then all of a sudden it decided it wanted your tasty jelly-filled seeing apparati and you haven't had time to focus on it.

actually that is what happened, it took a leap and tried to eat me. it promised to let me go if I brought it others.

so how about it? feel like hanging out in the woods?

i like the woods...

...but i also like my eyeballs. i need them for... y'know... seeing. and stuff.

I'm very pleased with it. I'm surprised how much difference having "auto-ISO" available in the manual modes makes. Very helpful.

I'm honoured that you do.

Bah. Blah. Not doing much. Can't seem to get motivated about it. Haven't for over a year.
