misterxI just blew away a client's pop3 account at their request. About 4 months ago, she quit checking email, because all she got was spam. When I deleted her mailbox today, she had over 8000 spam. I looked at about 2000 message titles... not one real email.

on 2004-07-16 11:23 am (UTC)I get roughly 400/day. So in four months, I get about 48,000 emails. I'm guessing at least 47,000 of those are spam.
In her case, 8000 divided by 4 months divided by 30 days is only 66/day.
