It's 62 deg F in my office this morning. Is this really neccessary?

Joseph must be controlling the thermostat. It was 63 F in the living room when I got up this morning.

Maybe the government is controlling all our thermostats. Starsail's post below confirms this theory.

I think you're on to something. Joseph called and said the heat's out on the boat. You wouldn't think that they would need heat in July, but the boat is underwater and stays pretty cold all the time.

Haliburton probably has a surplus of sweaters they want to sell.

Ah, I know exactly how you feel. It had been running 82 degrees in my office off and on for the last month.I usually dress for that temperature. This morning it is 64.

*hands you an axe and a lighter*

office furniture makes a nice warm fire.

almost makes me happy for my consistently 80 some degree office.

Believe me, I've considered it more than once, though not because of temperature needs.

Oh! I'm jealous of y'all. We're having a heatwave here, and I know the coolest I'll get our bedroom tonight by sleepy-time will be 74, if I'm really lucky.

62 is pretty insane, though.

There is no way I am responding to a thread that contains "meat" and "give me openings" sequentially.
