Saturday night I stopped by to check my Ma-Ma's grave and kind of squatted down to have a silent chat with her in my head. You know?
Anyway, I glanced up and saw the prettiest sight...wish I'd had my camera. Just over her headstone about 100 yards or so away a low-laying fog rolled among the hills. I could have gotten a GREAT shot of her headstone with this in the background. I find myself wanting to go by and check for the same view every evening just so I CAN get it on film.
Weird, I know...but it gave me such a peaceful feeling where she's concerned.
First time I ever saw the ground from the sky(ie first airplane ride) on my way to boot camp(Marine Corps), first time I saw the ocean, first time I saw Okinawa, very first time I ever laid eyes on Mark.
we've got a damp, cold, rainy mist going on here (way up here in Michigan), with showers off and on, and it's chillllly.. perfect night for snuggling and sleeping.. Zzzzz...
