Happy Friday disjointed post

misterxNo school tomorrow for the kids, and no one to watch them, so today is my Friday. I am off tomorrow, mostly. I'll probably do some work from home. That's the thing about being able to work from home. Sometimes it's nice, but sometimes you wish you could just have the day off, like in the pre-'net days.
I walked into the house yesterday after work, wearing my leather jacket and sporting a new haircut, and was informed by Lorelei "You look like Sky Captain". Scary thing is, she may be right. http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/09.15.04/gifs/sky-captain-0438.jpg
Hanging up some of my pictures at work. I just have them stacked on a shelf at home, might as well display them somewhere. Boss has agreed to let me use front lobby as a gallery.
I've been in an excellent state of mind. Had a "lightbulb moment" a couple weeks ago where I figured out some stuff that has been bothering me for a while. And, as is typical for me, when I sort something out, the change is immediate. So right now I'm greatly enjoying the "new & improved" life of X.
I don't know why I posted this with my giant woman icon, but I did.
