This is what I found on the roof of my car a couple mornings ago...

Not really what I'm looking for in a photo, but it makes great desktop wallpaper. As a bonus, you can see the intricacies of the ice crystals at these larger sizes. They look like feathers. Anyway... pick your poison:
800x600

1024x768

1280x960

Here's my desktop using it:

That's wonderful. If we ever get the internet working on our Dell again, I'll be thrilled to use it. (I've lost the Fall free image you provided, along with nearly everything else.)

And speaking of all that lost stuff, Paint Shop Pro 9 is gone. What are you using now for your photo editing? Any recommendations for or against?

I'm using Corel Paint Shop X (10). It has some nice interface improvements. If you're used to paint shop, this would be the natural choice.

I thought I remembered seeing a complaint from you about advertisements embedded in Corel Paint Shop? Did that get resolved, or did you just get used to it?

I wrote a scorching email to their sales dept and cc'ed every other dept I could find. Two days later it stopped. Three days after that, they emailed saying they couldn't find a resolution. Translation: man that was dumb of us... maybe if we play dumb he'll think it was his fault.

fabuloso!
Any chance of persuading you to generate a 1920x1200 version?

Lovely! I set it for my desktop and it's beautiful, but I think it may just make me feel colder than I already am. Perhaps I'll save it for Summer when they turn the AC off and it's 90 degrees indoors again... ;)

I can see how that would happen. I guess I'm more focused on the crystals, they almost look like feathers.

Hi, I found you through a friend's journal. I like your stuff and I'm stealing the wallpaper. =]
I added you, btw. I'm Becca.

I LOVE frost, except it's difficult to see through a frost-covered windshield when trying to drive. When I was a kid, I would always beg Mom not to scrape ALL the frost off, at least leave a little corener of it for me to look at, sparkling in the sun, on the ride to school. Shiny!

Use the force? I always scrape my windows completely, I'm funny like that.
