God, that's one thing I do miss about living there. I have found only a couple places here in Nebraska that can begin to compare to the beauty here. Something tells me I will move back to Damascus or up toward Konnarock/Green Cove after I retire.
You get the most amazing luminescence from the waterfalls and "white water." Is that a special technique or filter, just the way that camera works, or does it look exactly like that when you stand there watching it?
No special filters other than a circular polarizer, and I don't think any of my techniques are out of the ordinary. Tripod, longer exposure, meter correctly. Thinking about it the polarizer might have something to do with it, because I use it to cut glare and reflections, which may isolate the spray/foam more.
