Merry Xmas !!

Typing this via Melanie's new wireless router... she sits typing on the couch, quite happpy to be wire free. I can't believe the lousy default settings this thing came with though. No wonder there are so many open networks around here.

Lorelei is in the kitchen, eating a cinnamon roll and watching Zim on her portable DVD player.

Storm is on the floor in her room, playing with her new "Leapster", a sort of color touch screen pda game thingie for kids, surrounded by Barbie whatnots.

I myself have a pile of dark chocolate bars, a stocking full of booze (sample sizes of various things), and a brand new Sigma 70-300 APO DG macro. Woohoo!

It's worked out pretty well. And my Dad surprised me with a 20" widescreen lcd monitor... which i'm relishing mightily. My old screen was going green on me.

Yay for holidays! and presents!
And wi-fi hotspots! Altho I've not graduated to that technology yet :) it's still cool.. altho I can with Cal's new Nintendo DS.. it's wi-fi enabled.. with a chat prog included! Now to figure out how to use it.

I got your message. I was driving all xmas eve.. to way far away and back, in rainy slick roads weather and so I couldn't answer, sorry.
