Happy New Year everybody

I started my year off right and visited one of my favorite places, Grandfather Mountain.

I always feel more at home in my skin after spending some time there. I don't follow any particular religion, but it is a spiritual place for me. It was good to go back. I bought myself a season pass this time.

Melanie always says I smell good when I come back from hiking.

Getting out on new years day is a great idea... maybe I should make it my tradition too. Can there be such a thing as a new tradition?
