Candle sparkle
Jan. 26th, 2006 09:28 am
Long time no posts. I've been kind of laying low. I've been having a nasty bout of depression, and it's been busy at work. It feels like forever since I posted any photos, and surely longer since I've posted any kind of meaningful update about myself. I guess the photos are about myself though.
I made the image above last night, in a fit of boredom for lack of photographic subjects. A candle perched atop my old tripod, a black cloth backdrop, and a major obstruction in the hallway (me). The sparks are from lighter flint.

on 2006-01-26 02:53 pm (UTC)I'd noticed you're not on chat much, either. I do the withdrawl thing when I'm depressed, too, so I understand. If you need anything, inbox is open.
*hugs*

on 2006-01-28 09:13 pm (UTC)I like the way you cut out stuff and put it in your journal (followed image link to your flickr acct). I used to to do that in my letters, in the days before email. Envelopes too. I had a reputation at the post office.

hope your depression clears soon..
This a seasonal thing?
I know it sounds stupid but try taking trips to the tanning salon. the UV rays help with depression in the winter. :)
