A few pics from the B&B

Sitting area...
Amusingly enough, the zine on the couch called "the Mountain Xpress" has an article about polyamory, and the main individual interviewed is only identified as Mr. X. It wasn't me... funny though. Just out of the frame to the left is the candy dish I would break only a few hours later.
A large and comfy bed, just right really. The floor was tile, but it had radiant heating running under it so it wasn't cold. It was toasty, actually. To the right of the bed is a fireplace, to the left, the sitting area and the entranceway. There was lots of local art as decor.
The bath had this marble two-person shower with raindrop heads and steam outlet. You could just turn on the steam and make it a sauna.
Fancy sinks ahead, shower is on right, fireplace on left with oil painting above.
The whirlpool bath was set back in an alcove, quite cozy. Candles and bath oils were supplied. It was sooo relaxing after a long drizzly day of walking around Biltmore. We opened a bottle of Biltmore's American Syrah, cranked up the bubbles, and lounged for the longest time.
Melanie approves, and dives into the pillows. :)
As a bonus, the innkeepers Frank and Ralph were intelligent and interesting to talk to. As quiet and reserved Ralph was, Frank was loud and flamboyant. They seem like a real odd couple but it must work for them. "Seems odd but it works for them"... that sums up a lot about Asheville. Quirky, artsy little place.
Two blocks away, a full size grocery store full of natural and organic products. It was heavenly. Awesome hot and cold prepared foods, isles of organic everything. Cheeses I had never heard of too. Including one that Saddam must have hid from the inspectors, whoo. Anyway. I obviously had a good time.
