So, heard word from the realtor that they accepted our offer. We should get the paperwork tomorrow, then it's straight to the bank to get that going. The mortgage dude wants !!6 weeks!! to close! That's just nuts. Normal is two. I don't care if he's busy, this is MY loan.

Stopped by Lowes to look at replacement windows, and they are actually quite reasonably priced. I will probably replace all but the picture window as soon as we get the place. The existing windows are crap.

Looked at fridges and stoves, but decided why bother if Mel wasn't there. We will probably get a new fridge and stove, but she will have to pick. My only input... I want an automatic ice maker.

Also looked at sheds. Mmmm.... sheds.

Lock down your rate asap. They are rising. Mine went up almost a 1/2 point before it locked.

Check out Target, I got the Rubbermaid shed for what I thought was an extremely reasonable price(under $200). They have a variety of sizes and you can put it together.

Thanks. But re: sheds, I will want to keep my motorcycle in it, so it will have to be fairly large and have it's own floor. I was looking at the wood ones that look like little barns.
