We were looking for something to do so we took the kids to see the fish at the Erwin fish hatchery. Sounds weird I know but it's pretty amazing seeing all those fish when you're a kid. This is something I learned from my parents "how to entertain kids on very little money" strategies from my youth.

There are big canvas quonset huts over half of each fish pool. The pools themselves are shallow concrete, with water flowing from end to end. They have doors where you can peek in.

Kira borrowed Shirokarasu's camera

Ayla caught it

Not sure what she was doing with a sushi mat and polished rocks, but she was doing it intently

No, but I read Clan of the Cave Bear, which I suspect Ayla's mother did, too!

YOu know.... you can ask me.... It is the Slingshot 100 AW. There is very little difference between it and the 200. The 200 is slightly bigger. Same amount of pockets and features. I absolutely love mine.

Ah - thanks for that! ;-p
How much bigger was the 200? I have some pretty large lenses... hehehe

It is brand new and you can pull it round to your front to load/unload your camera/lenses. I am afraid that I cannot remember its mane - someting about a sling I think...
