The sky is dimly lit, and the day seems overcast. I'm driving around, trying to get to the other side of a lake to take some photos. I stop the car in a pulloff alongside a cove, and get out. I look back up the short cove at the sky, and am surprised by the three objects I see there. First, an enormous full moon, rich in detail. To it's left, the sun, somewhat dimmed and indistinct as though it were overcast, though I could see the moons quite clearly. It is small in size when compared to the full moon. And lastly, a large thin crescent moon almost as big as the full moon. I don't remember the position of the crescent. As I watch, a solar eclipse begins, implying a third moon in the sky.

I am amazed by the phenomena, and decide to write it down so I can tell my dad. I don't want to forget it. I can't find any paper to write on, so I start writing on this red glass bowl from our kitchen. Why I have a paint marker and a red glass bowl, I have no idea. I'm writing on the side of it, but it's difficult, and I decide it's silly to be writing it on the bowl when it's easier to contact my dad directly. I believe I either called him or he came along in person. In any case, I place the red bowl into another larger bowl full of water, where it floats. I note that the water largely covers my words.

The dream felt significant.

interesting.
3 IS a magical number- and the sun and moons- I've seen ONE moon in the sky during the day- but 3- never.
I WON'T ask you if you've been reading John Norman....
