A better night, but...
Sep. 7th, 2003 10:19 amWell, only one incidence last night of Storm waking up in her exorcist dream state. I have to tell you though it's really scary to see her like that. She yells/growls/shrieks everything through clenched and grinding teeth, each reply starting low and winding up to an air-raid-like pitch that sets my hair on end. Her hands are little white-knuckled fists. She can hear you, and answer questions, but she's pissed about it, and the answers are colored by the fact that she's in a situation invisible to the rest of us, with things and people and stuff we can't see. And she makes it clear she doesn't like being there.
Being a parent sucks sometimes. Like when you want to make it stop, and you can't.
House update: We have the final walkthrough on the house this evening. We're supposed to close tomorrow. They haven't told me how much $ I have to bring to the closing yet... I'm betting that they don't realize that my bank doesn't have a branch in their state. And since I have to bring Lorelei to school down in TN first thing in the morning, my Monday is going to be a whole lot of driving. Wheee....
Somebody remind me to pay bills!

on 2003-09-07 07:46 am (UTC)Good luck with the closing tomorrow. You should call and ask how much $ you need. No one volunteered to tell us until we were in the closing. I guess everyone assumed that we had figured it out, or someone else had informed us. Luckily it was a small enough amount that they would take a personal check instead of requiring a certified one. Our closing wasn't until 5pm, so there's no way we would have been able to get to the bank and get a check from them.
Oh, BTW, you need to pay bills.

on 2003-09-07 10:35 am (UTC)I supposedly have seizures when my fever gets too high. I say supposedly because I don't remember (I'm out of it by then), but I'm told I get delirous and then start thrashing around. Alternately, I just pass out, often to less than wonderful effect. (Last time I almost lost my penis. The time before that, I wonked my head and lay there for two hours unconscious)
RE: the closing, I would call, but they aren't there right now. And, they won't be there Monday morning until I'm already in TN, because I have to have Lorelei to school by 8:15, and it's an hour drive. So Monday is just going to be hectic period.
I remember those
