A sliver away from 100 degrees, no wind, and 25% humidity.

What does my mind do? My mind says "Hey, you should mow now. And edge the driveway while you're at it."

Good grief this is hot. I felt dizzy when I was done. Damn.

One of my all-time favorite lines in a movie. :)

The movie Aliens from 1986. The space marines are traveling through the tunnels beneath the base reactor. The walls are encrusted with chitinous alien growth, steam floats in the air, water is dripping everywhere. You're expecting aliens to jump out any second, and oh yes, because we're right under the reactor, nobody can fire their weapons. I can't remember if the reactor was also on it's way to going critical at that time or not.

Anyway, one of the marines says "Man, it's hot in here", and Hudson (played by Bill Paxton) replies exuberantly with "Yeah man, but it's a dry heat!". It was so out of place, and the moment was so tense, that everyone in the theater exploded with laughter. It was perfect timing and delivery for that line. I still crack up when I watch it.

We got the wild hair to go geocaching. Luckily, we went mainly after ones where we could park within 100 feet. The few that were farther away than that had us melting.

When we walked in the door, we nearly passed out from the shock of the AC. But damn it was nice.
