We went over for dinner, the menu was home-made tamales. :) But it's mostly pics of the lizard.

That flash will melt paint at 100 yards I suspect. It's huge.

I am very, very much a amateur photographer. I'm still saving up for my first "real" camera (which will only be a XTi, but hey, gotta start somewhere...). Right now I am camera-less, due to the untimely demise of my dear A620. Ah well, she was a good camera while she lasted.

I want to tinker with that flash, hehe. I have it's little sibling on my Amazon wish list, mwahaha.

I'm sure we've run into each other somewhere around K-town, which may be why you look familiar. I could swear I've actually talked to you before... but it may be my imagination. Though, we both work in tech and know Kara, so it's possible we've run into each other.

Yeah, I have the 430 and I'm quite pleased with it. I mostly need it for indoor/office environments (website photos) and so I don't need the range of the 580. Given the extra bulk of the 580, I think the 430 is right for me.

Yeah, maybe tech related, maybe something else, not sure. I'll have to go look at your interests list. :)
