I just crawled over from Crow's journal (captainsnarky)... she said that you were an amazing photographer.. and she was right. I'm just starting out and she thought you might be able to give me some pointers.
Glad you like. I was skimming your journal (about the best I can do with one eye half-open in the morning) and noticed you had gotten a new Canon, but you didn't say what model.
Love that maple sprouting on the weathered lumber, btw.
I'm using a Canon PowerShot S5 IS, nothing incredibly fancy.. but for me just starting out it's a huge leap from the little HP point and shoot I was using.
I'm truly loving your work.. what Canon do you have?
as pretty as this might have looked in a long exposure, I really liked the contrast between the serenity and lushness of the moss and the shattering violence of the water.
