I am getting behind on posting again, I need to increase the frequency. These are various pics I shot with the Sigma 150-500mm whilst at my parent's house.
Same photo, cropped in some. I was digging the details in the chest and throat feathers in particular and wanted to share that.
I love the detail and color on the blue jay, and you nicely caught the iridescent pink on the mourning dove's neck.
I'm a sucker for bird pictures, and I'm tempted to get a more serious camera to capture some better quality ones myself (oh but I HAD to get a camera that was small and light and captured video).
I'm not a great bird fan, but those pictures are really stunning and I do have an appreciation for blue jays :) The close up of the blue jay is vibrant and really shows natures perfection of the bird itself.
