It's an interesting project. Email was created almost at the dawn of the internet, and it is still the largest use of the internet. But it's remarkably primitive by today's standards. Google posed themselves the question... "What if email didn't exist, and we were to invent an internet communication system today? What would it look like? The result is something that is a combination of email, instant messaging, bulletin board system, and groupware. I really want to try it.
Already requested but it may be months before the next wave of invites goes out. i would like to learn about it now so i can get a jump on developing on the platform.
Ahhh, sorry I didn't realize that. I didn't read everything through very thoroughly. I thought all you had to do was request. I didn't realize it was by exclusive invitation only for now.
Good Luck still though. Hopefully you can find your way in.

It looks as though you can "request" an invite once through all the horse and pony show.
Good Luck
