Lunchbreak
Jun. 15th, 2010 01:40 pmLeaning against my car, eating my lunch. Thunderstorms lurk nearby, I can hear them rumbling. Its nice and breezy.
This weekend when i went out to mow i was greeted with the unwelcome site of a river of coolant coming from under my car. I feared it was the harbinger of great unplanned expense. It turned out to be not as bad as all that... just a cracked coolant tank. Unfortunately, the auto store had to order it, so i did my best superglue job to try and keep the leak at bay. It worked admirably, until today... my car is once again drooling whereever i park. I hope i make it back to TN this eve, and that my part is awaiting. I also hope they ship the right part this time.
Just started drizzling. It feels so nice and cool. :)
Apparently standing by your car in business casual in an empty lot makes one a suspicious person... some cop keeps driving by me while i type.
There are going to be a ton of berries here when these bushes bear fruit. This whole side of the lot is raspberry bushes.
Time to go back. Alas.

on 2010-06-15 06:50 pm (UTC)A junkyard ought to have that.
Must resist urge to take pictures of cop.
They seem to think we're not allowed to do that.
Raspberry totally takes over.
Next year, maybe it will surround the lot.
It's like delicious kudzu.

on 2010-06-16 03:02 pm (UTC)A local hardware / plumbing supply / marine supply spot might have it.
Mmmmmmmmmmm - raspberries. I have a little bush growing alongside my house, I imagine not coicidentally next to the composter where berries have been tossed once or twice. Not enough to make a pie, but enough to grab a few handfulls to toss on cereal.
