Jun. 29th, 2004 07:37 amThis weekend, Lorelei and I went to Roan Mtn, as previously posted. During this trip, she got some mud on her blue skort, and some ice cream on her white shirt. No problem, kids are kids. Heck, if that's the measure, this adult is kid too.
Two days in a row now she's come out of her room trying to wear that same, unwashed outfit to school.
NO!!!!!!!
(this is the kid that refuses to bring her dirty clothes to the laundry room until she has nothing to wear but a wool sweater and a pair of jeans three sizes too small)

on 2004-06-29 05:59 am (UTC)I just had a discussion with her *last night* about laundry, and how she needs to bring stuff to you if she wants to have anything to wear on vacation this coming weekend. Her plan originally, just so you know, was that she would go through her laundry on Thursday night, pick out the stuff she wanted to bring, then oust you from the laundry room and wash them all herself. ALL of them, too, "just in case they happen to be dirty".
You're welcome. ;)
[oops, did I comment here? I hope I'm not killing the entry with my comment like I usually do]

on 2004-06-29 06:12 am (UTC)But I'm also not letting her wear dirty clothes. If all she has left is a thick wool sweater, guess what she's going to wear.
