Okay, even though in the close-up it's obvious it's a split and such in the trunk, the original is still *CREEPY* 'cause that totally looks like a dude hanging from the tree. Weird. *shudder*

I don't know. the tree isn't as wide as the figure. the figure is two or three times the width, so that doesn't account for it. it almost looks like a cape?

It looks like there's some stuff in the branches on the other side of the tree in the closeup -- headstone looking. Maybe somebody decorated the tree years ago on a lark and either forgot or was spooked away from cleaning it up?

I would be so tempted to go back to the site and go to the tree if I could walk that far.

In the far shot it looks to me like a man in a suit, leaning against the tree with his hands folded in front of him.

Back in the trees -- one pair is within the caped-creepy-dude, and the other is just above the headstone to the left, one "eye" on either side of it. Kinda Close-Encounters-alien-ish looking, that set.

That is SO cool!! I see the eyes now! How awesome. I was so focused on the man-figure that I didn't see the eyes, but a took broader look at the photo and pop! There they were. Way cool! Hmm.. quite interesting :)

That's pretty cool. It looks like an optical illusion. From afar it looks like a man in a cape, but in the close up, if you look very hard, it looks like the trunk of the tree, with some dark shadows behind it.
