its a Canon 430EX flash with Omnibounce diffuser

Best part is, the company bought it for me so I can do more photography as part of my job.

Always nice to have a toy you don't have to pay for :-)

Schweet!

Wow, nice flash. I need one like that.

Now I have to ponder diffusers/reflectors/etc. I'm getting it with an omnibounce but also considering trying a lightsphere2 or a flip-it.

I don't know what etc is yet.

Maybe it should be ANOTHER FLASH, with one of those battery-powered slave-remote firing thingies. :-)

Ew.... I was just looking at the manual for the Flip-it reflector, and they seem to think I will do THIS to my new flash, in order to use their product. Hello? How about a slip-on?

It looks like that flash is trying to become a furry!

I'm excited about it. I have to learn it quickly though... work paid for it because we have three photoshoots queued up for clients.

I like big whomp'n flashes like that.

I have the Vivitar HV283 or whatever it is. It'd be nice to have controls on it like yours has
