You are a victim of the insidious earworm. The only known cure is a software reboot. This can be accomplished through taking a nap. overriding the current selection with a new one or the application of a hammer to the side of the head. I usually pick number 2 because the hammer tends to make a mess.
Aw, I actually really like that song. But I agree, even that would likely drive me crazy. I'm prone to fierce earworms.
Last night I had Extreme's "Hole Hearted" making me crazy, so I grabbed my phone (which I have stuffed with some of my favorite songs) and played Devo's "Here to Go" which is very strange and annoyingly catchy. Very seldom can I get something out of my head unless I replace it with something I am actually listening to and is catchier. Otherwise, it either fails or just layers or alternates...which is more annoying. :-p
